Accessibility
The Glass Works Shopping Centre is at the heart of Barnsley Town Centre and accessible with the main retail boulevard and public square on the ground level. From the Glass Works car park, accessible lifts are available for visitors. Some shops and venues within the Glass Works, including Barnsley Market, include upper levels for visitors, these can be accessed via accessible lifts within their premises. Visitors can rent mobility scooters and wheelchairs from Age UK situated on Eldon Street. You will need to register with them to access this service.
Toilets
Customer toilets are located in the Glass Works lobby, in the market atrium and first floor of the Market and Market Kitchen. Accessible toilets are located in the Market atrium, the first floor of the Market and in Market Kitchen. Accessible toilets and a wet room facility is also available in the Glass Works lobby.

At the Glass Works we pride ourselves on the customer service we provide. From our friendly security team based on the boulevard and public square, to our markets team located at our customer service desk. We also work closely with the town centre wardens and police to ensure everyone feels safe and welcome whilst visiting.
