The entrance is located towards the north end of the Shopping City, which provides level access through wide, open doors onto Floor 2 of the library. There are 3 floors in total, all of which are accessible by a public lift which is centrally located. The life does have an audible announcer and there is a mirror to aid with reversing. There are also stairs to all customer floors which are clearly marked. There are 20 stairs between floors, separated with a landing after 10 stairs. The library floor itself is wide enough to easily move around. Every staff desk also has dropped counters for customer to put books on when checking them in and out. We do have automated machines to check books in and out, as well as to print, but staff are available to assist if necessary. Staff are also able to help taking books off shelves for customers who require assistance. Shelves are signed at the top detailing what genre of book they are, or what non-fiction subject they are. Within the library we also have meeting rooms spaces that can be booked out at a small cost, with large rooms available that have automatic doors and a push button which is clearly visible.

We have a new official Changing Places toilet located next to the accessible toilet on floor 2 of the library.
