Overview
The only real issue was humans!!! The place is set up so well for accessibility. We used Jet2 and their assisted travel service is fantastic. Down side was the attitude of the assisted travel rep for the airport at check in. Hated his job and was really obvious about it physically and verbally. Such a shame. Ramps and seating everywhere and wide areas although many travellers showed no regard for anyone needing a bit of help. The chap, Alan, who met us at the gate to support boarding was AMAZING. Never even got grumpy when people refused to move out of his way after asking three times!!
Transport & Parking
Used the local car park with bus service (Secure Airparks) parking is easy and buses are every ten mins maximum. I had to load three cases and help two with mobility issues. That was a little struggle but at least the driver sat and waited until I was all done before driving off. And he had lowered the access but we could I suppose have asked him to put out the ramp if we really needed it.

Toilets
There was accessible toilets plus a larger one for adult changing! So pleased to see this. As with all airport toilets they could have been a lot cleaner but plenty room to manoeuvre any type of wheelchair. There was also an assisted exit button but not sure if it worked. Plenty space in there for two carers not just one, if required.
Staff
Jet2 staff were amazing. As was one of the assistance team (Alan) As we approached check in the ropes were moved and we were directed to the front of the queue. This means so much when you have a person in a wheelchair and another using a rollator!!!
