Accessibility
Edinburgh Airport is committed to looking after all of our passengers before you board your aircraft. If you have a disability or require additional assistance at the airport, you must inform your airline of your particular need at least 48 hours before you fly. It is advisable to give as much notice as possible for both the outbound and return journeys – this way we can ensure you receive the assistance you require. However, if no notification is made we will make all efforts to assist you. Even if you are fairly mobile you may still require assistance as there can be long distances within airports. To receive assistance you must arrive at a designated point no later than two hours before the published flight departure time, or present yourself for check-in no later than one hour before the published departure time. For more information visit edinburghairport.com/prepare/request-special-assistance Help points can be found at the drop-off zones for buses, taxis and private vehicles, and in the arrivals halls. Help points (marked with yellow signs) are equipped with telephones or assistance buttons for use exclusively by people with special needs.
