The nearest bus stop is on George IV Bridge, about 200 metres from the property front door. This is served by a number of Lothian buses, primarily routes 23 and 27.

Parking

Due to our unique and historical location in the heart of Edinburgh’s Old Town, parking is tricky but not impossible. On arrival it is possible to park your car on High Street (The Royal Mile) for a short time to allow you unload luggage. We are located at number 329 on the Royal Mile - directly opposite St. Giles' Cathedral. For long-stay parking, we usually advise our guests to park at the Edinburgh Waverley Railway Station car park. We offer our guests 20% discount on their advertised rates, which equates to £17.60 for a 24-hour stay (price as of 2021). You will be presented with a ticket on entry to the car park, you must have it validated at our reception at check out for the discounted rate to be applied. This car park has a height restriction of 1.90 meters. This car park is located 8 minutes on foot from Cheval Old Town Chambers. There are Blue Badge parking spaces on St Giles Street, however these are in short supply.
