Venue Description
Set in the stunning surroundings of the medieval ruins of St. Mary’s Abbey, York Museum Gardens is a great space to meet friends and family and enjoy the peace and tranquility that the gardens have to offer. The Gardens are open daily and free to all visitors.Accessibility
The Gardens are fully wheelchair accessible with gently sloping pathways and ramps up to the Yorkshire Museum entrance.
Toilets
There are no toilet facilities available in the gardens.
Staff
We have friendly Garden Guides identifiable in green uniforms with logos. They will be happy to help with navigation throughout our spaces and can provide any further information you may need. Our Guides give free talks on Sundays from 1pm (no need to book ahead).
