Really good

Overview
Visited York Army Museum with my boy who loves anything like that. With ADHD, sometimes museums can be a short or rushed visit, but the opportunity to handle objects, learn all about them and dress up in costumes and equipment was a real attention grabber at the Army Museum when we popped by on a day out. The staff were patient, approachable and lovely with our young fella, especially the chap demonstrating objects who helped make a memorable trip. We found the museum welcoming, engaging and look forward to a return trip next time we're in York. The exhibition hall was downstairs at basement level, but there was a lift.
Transport & Parking
We'd traveled by train and walked to the Museum.

We were really welcome and dressing up in all the uniform and equipment all at the same time and scampering about in it were not a problem. Very friendly place indeed and totally inclusive from our experience.
Anything else you wish to tell us?
My son loved this place and I'm sure next time we are in York we'll be back. A good way to spend an hour or so. Max Card accepted.
