Wynnstay Machynlleth
15 Heol Maengwyn, Machynlleth, SY20 8AE, United Kingdom | 01654702941 | WebsiteVenue Description
The Wynnstay Hotel in the centre of Machynlleth, the ancient capital of Wales, is a traditional coaching inn, dating back to the 1700's. It is a quirky old building that oozes character. The restaurant serves excellent food based on the freshest and most local produce. It also has an exceptional wine list and good line up of exclusively Welsh, ales, lagers and ciders. Wheel chair access from the car park is easy and wheelchair users are most welcome.Accessibility
The hotel's car park is at the rear of the hotel and wheelchair access from there is level. The front door, onto the main street, has a couple of old slate steps but the side gates allow access to the back door. As this is an ancient building, (1780's) the bedrooms are all above the ground floor. At some point in the future, when we can find the money, we shall add ground floor bedrooms. The main ladies lavatory is on the first floor but there is a disabled lavatory to the rear of the hotel. One just has to ask a member of staff.
