Venue Description

Accessible self-catering cottage located within a beautiful Scottish Estate in the heart of Dumfries & Galloway near the Solway Coast. Woodsedge has level access, a wetroom, an electric bed and armchair and the loan of our mobility scooter. This comfortable cottage sleeps up to 5 in 3 bedrooms and has an open fire and enclosed rear garden. Guests are also welcome to enjoy the Estate gardens. Dogs are welcome. Free wifi.

Accessibility

Level entrance with drop-off immediately outside. Cottage is level throughout with a wet room, electric bed, electric armchair and option of toilet booster seat. Perch stool provided in kitchen. Option to borrow mobility scooter for use round grounds. Small lip to rear enclosed garden but portable ramp is provided or guests can access from side gate which is level.

Toilets

There is level access to the wetroom where the toilet is. The toilet has a grab rail on the right hand side (when seated). There is an optional toilet insert to raise the height of the seat.

Dogs can be exercised off lead in the rear garden. We also have a 14 acre wood about 30m from the cottage where dogs can be let off the lead.
