Adventurous play at its best! Welcome to William’s Den A multi-award-winning adventure play, kid's party and camping venue overlooking the scenic Yorkshire Wolds. A natural environment where families can explore custom-built climbing areas that bring the outdoors alive inside, with a real tree house, streams, stepping stones, rope bridges, sand & water play, tyre swings, den building, and so much more outside and in! You can even make it rain indoors!  A dream play-scape to run free in a safe, natural setting! Plus, grown-ups can join in too, whatever the weather.  Enjoy award-winning homemade food & drink at William's Pizzeria & Coffee Shop and sweet treats at William's Homemade Ice Cream Parlour.  Kids love exploring the custom-built adventure play areas and never want to leave!  Make your adventures last longer and stay in a stunning, natural setting camping under the stars and make memories with your kids to last a lifetime at William's Den.

Accessibility

Facilities are accessible by wheelchair with level access throughout. Ramped access to public areas via automatic doors. Play areas are served by ramps. Doors are automatic push button/sensor over 2 door widths to accommodate wheelchairs easily. Access to the Restaurant is via an archway wider than 2 door widths. Ramp for the lower level of the restaurant. Automatic doors go out to the dining terrace on a flat level. Disabled toilet in the Restaurant area. Disabled and ambulant WC facilities near entrance doors. Fully accessible changing places WC with Ceiling Hoist, height-adjustable changing table and a height-adjustable wash basin.

Toilets

There are several disabled and ambulant WC facilities available to customers. We have installed a fully accessible WC - designed by Astor Bannerman - to support visitors with different disabilities. This is located in the main toilets, on the left as you enter the loos. It includes a Ceiling Track Hoist, a Nivano Height Adjustable Changing Table and a Height Adjustable Wash Basin.

We have a dedicated exercise area for dogs at our nearby neighbouring campsite, a few minutes walk.

We will provide drinking water for any assistance dogs when required.
