The William Merritt centre is a charity and a social enterprise we offer impartial and professional advice for Children and Adults carrying out assessments for clients, healthcare professionals and members of the public about daily living aids. We offer a try before you buy ethos allowing clients to identify individual needs to enhance their independence. We are also a Regional Driving Assessment Service and do driving assessments, passenger assessments and assessments for vehicle adaptations.Accessibility

Changing Places is only open during the Centre's opening times, 8.30am - 4.30pm Monday - Friday, no radar key required. Changing Places facilities includes: Free standing height adjustable changing bed Peninsular Clos-o-mat toilet with two drop down arm rests Height adjustable sink H-frame ceiling track hoist with loop system Shower Body dryer Floor space 12m sq Disabled access toilet includes: Geberit toilet - access for a left hand transfer Wall mounted grabrail Drop down rail
