Whiteinch Library opened in 1926 and has been a vital resource for the local community. The Library offers books, DVD’s, CD’s and audio books for lending. We have 6 computers for public use with printing and photocopying services. Whiteinch library have a number of different groups from ages 0- 90+ years, they range from a Book Group to Bounce & Rhythm, a Creative Writers Group to a Wee Play children’s group, home-work group to Esol conversational group as well as many others. The staff are knowledgeable friendly and will assist you where they can.
Accessibility
Access to Whiteinch Library is by the front door which has a ramp or stairs with handrails it has double doors that have to be opened manually. Once in the building there are 3 areas open to the public, the main book lending area, the children’s area and the computer and study room. Access to these areas is through double and single swing doors opening both ways manually. The Public toilet is in the children’s room and it can accommodate disable users and has baby changing facilities.
