Venue Description

A traditional pub and bed and breakfast situated in Welshpool, a bustling market town in Powys. Whether you are visiting friends or relatives, exploring the area or enjoying some of the beautiful Welsh countryside’s most scenic walks, you are assured of a warm and friendly welcome at the Westwood. Formerly a coaching inn, Westwood Park has been lovingly developed by landlords Tich and Diane who have transformed the property into a thriving bed and breakfast, while retaining a traditional atmosphere. Since taking over in 2006, Tich and Diane have added two new double en-suite rooms, bringing the total number of rooms to seven. Together, the couple has more than 15 years’ experience in the pub trade and customer service industry, which they have combined with their love for the local area to create a warm and homely bed and breakfast renowned for its friendly, welcoming approach to locals and guests alike.

Accessibility

Disabled access around the back of the building for the pub which is always open! We try to be as accomodating as possible to everyone. We have disabled access through the back of the building and doors that are able to be opened in order for larger wheelchairs to access the premises.
