Beautiful forest walk,lovely autumn colours, accessible paths and treetop walk. good cafe, changing places toilet.

Transport & Parking

Lots of disabled spaces in tarmaced carpark.

Access

Wide paths, some a bit gravelly and muddy, steep slopes in places. Treetop walk easy to access on smooth wooden surface. Site probably best for power chairs or scooter. Scooters available for free at certain time slots (see website) . Website advises against use of three wheel scooters.

Toilets

Small toilet at entrance, but large changing places toilet near cafe.

Staff

Didn't really meet many staff. Those at entry & cafe friendly.

Anything else you wish to tell us?

Cafe gets busy - probably best to visit for early or late lunch. Outdoor seats available. Small shop, visitor centre, children activities, phone app for info. Dogs allowed. Busy periods in Autumn weekends.
