Museum open and 'in steam' for Disabled Access Day
The Waterworks Museum is located on the outskirts of Herefords and is set in lovely grounds that stand close by the beautiful River Wye and is quite unique. We have the widest range of pumping engines working on one site in Britain, which tell you the story of drinking water whether you just have a general interest, enjoy social history, love seeing big engines working or your kids simply want to have fun while they learn.
The Trustees of the Museum are very pleased to be supporting Disabled Access Day by adding an event, which is sponsored by Dwr Cymru Welsh Water, to the Museum’s annual calendar.
We will be open and ‘in steam’ on Saturday 12 March (1pm-4pm) with free access for qualifying visitors and their carers.
