Venue Description

The Ultimate Picture Palace (UPP) is Oxford’s oldest and only independent cinema, just off the Cowley Road, showing a mix of recent releases from around the world, classic seasons and a programme of exciting one-off events.

Accessibility

The access to the main entrance of the cinema and ticket office is level, as is the entrance to the screen and bar. There are two spaces in the main auditorium for those who wish to watch a film from their wheelchair.

Accessible Performances

On Tuesday, where possible, we show the main feature of that week with subtitles for the hard of hearing.

Toilets

The toilets are below the screen down a few steps. However, we have an arrangement in place with the church across the road. If you are in a wheel chair, please approach a member of staff who will happily walk you to the disabled access toilet.
