Getting Here

Nottingham City Transport has two public buses which have stops near entrances to Colwick Country Park, the red-line number 44 and the Citylink 2 Park and Ride Bus. There is quite a long walk around the 65 acre lake from the entrance to the park to the boat moorings but all paths are accessible with wheelchairs and electric scooters. There are two train stations nearby too, Netherfield and Carlton Train Stations are approx. 10 minutes away by bus and are both on the red-line number 44 bus route.

Parking

The boat sails from Colwick Marina in the grounds of Colwick Country Park. Access to the park is through a pay-barrier but free admittance is given to Nottingham Crusader passengers. There is free parking near the boat moorings and a pick-up/drop-off point right outside the moorings with enough space for a minibus with wheelchair ramp to easily load and unload passengers.
