Disabled Access Day
Disabled Access Day Event, Friday 10th March 2017, Sense Scotland’s TouchBase Glasgow, 43 Middlesex St, enter through our main public entrance on Milnpark St, Glasgow, G41 1EE. Drop in from 11am to 3pm.
TouchBase Glasgow is a warm, welcoming hub for the community in Kinning Park.
For Disabled Access Day, Sense Scotland would like to invite you to pop in to TouchBase Glasgow. Find out a little bit about Inclusive Communication with our Partners in Communication Team, or simply have a look round around TouchBase.
Pop in any time from 11am to 3pm. You can;
- Try out different communication tools
- Pick up some resources to help you be a better communication partner
- Participate in a consultation on Communication Access UK’s proposals for a Symbol for Communication Access
- Find out about Include Us All, the new Scottish inclusive communication hub.
- Visit our cafe and enjoy Disabled Access Day special offers
- Have a tour of TouchBase Glasgow, including our conference and meeting facilities which are available to hire. You can also attend a short information session on Inclusive Communication. Information Sessions will take place -
11.15am to 11.45am
1.30pm to 2pm
Our accessible facilities include grab rails, wide corridors and contrasting décor. We have a Changing Places accessible toilet, and an induction loop is available on request. We look forward to welcoming you on the 10th of March.
