Venue Description

Tiverton Library is one of the busiest libraries in Devon with a lively calendar of regular events and activities. The library is located near the bus station and shares Phoenix House with Mid Devon District Council and Tiverton Job Centre Plus. The library meeting room can host up to 34 people (theatre layout) or 20 people (boardroom layout) for events, meetings, conferences or training. Prices start at £22.60 per hour. WiFi is available throughout the building and the library has free public computers, and chargeable printing and copying facilities. Accessibility

The library is all on one level, with no steps, and an automatic door at the entrance. A portable hearing loop is available for use within the library. Friendly staff are on hand to help during opening hours. Pay & display car parking is available close by - with 10 spaces opposite the library at Phoenix House, and four additional pay & display spaces for blue badge holders outside Job Centre Plus. All-day parking is available at the multi-storey car park next to the Premier Inn on Phoenix Lane.

Public toilets, including a toilet for people with disabilities, and baby changing station are situated in the foyer of Phoenix House.
