Pieces of hardboard (or similar inappropriate material) laid to try to cover a large gap between two concrete walkways. Where the material is unsuitable and has gotten wet it has buckled and fallen into the gap so offering no support to cross it.

A block of wood use to try, but sadly failing, to fill a pothole.

A piece of hardboard (or similar inappropriate material) used as a ramp where there is a step but because it isn’t long enough and the material isn’t appropriate, it has fallen down the step so offers no help.
We did move the “ramp” back up but it just buckled when I tried to wheel up it.
