Overview
Accessibility at the theatre is excellent and level from Grey Street. The only problem with us was being able to park against a drop kerb as part of the available area was "buses only" ! Once inside the theatre access is very good.
Transport & Parking
I used a taxi so have no information about disabled parking. There was a bus stop opposite the theatre so probably the best bet would be to check with the bus companies for details. The distance from the train station to the theatre is about 3/4 of a mile and up hill part of the way.
Access
The theatre is very old but they have certainly made a good effort to make disabled patrons welcome. There are steps and plenty of them! But the plus side was that wheelchairs users are catered for by providing a selection of spaces and my space had an excellent view. Signage is good and there are lifts to all areas.
Toilets
Accessible loos are well signed but the one I used was quite small. It was clean and there was plenty of hot water. Grab rails were provided and everything was very clean.
Staff
All the staff were brilliant and so helpful. They certainly made my visit easy and pleasant.
