The Victoria Hall

Bagnall Street, Stoke-on-Trent, ST1 3AD, United Kingdom | 01782 213808 | Website

Venue Description

The Victoria Hall was built in 1888 to commemorate Queen Victoria's Golden Jubilee. The Victoria Hall was then revamped in the mid-nineties, opening its doors once more in 1998 and has since then been at the heart of the Cultural Quarter, alongside its sister venue The Regent Theatre. The Victoria Hall has now established itself as one of the most popular venues on the touring circuit and has played host to an impressive array of famous faces, including Paul Weller, KT Tunstall, Joan Rivers, Jack Dee, Mitchell & Webb, Jimmy Carr, Russell Brand and Bloc Party, to name but a few. It consistently attracts the biggest names in music and comedy to Stoke-on-Trent, as well as an array of children’s shows, music tributes and dance.

Accessibility

The Victoria Hall has two Entrances, one side is accessible from Bagnall Street, and the other is accessible from the Bus Station - The bus station entrance is located next to The Victoria Hall Box Office, and the bars/lift can be accessed by a ramp leading down to the Artium/Stalls area. There are designated wheelchair spaces on all three auditorium levels (Stalls, Circle, Upper Circle) and access toilets on all levels. Box Office, cloakroom and bars all have low level counters. There is lift access to all levels of the hall from our foyer. The lift has an audible announcer.
