Venue Description
The Salisbury Centre is open to all who want to develop their spiritual, psychological and creative life. Our aspiration is for all communities to benefit from the Centre and know that they have a place to share their offerings that also serve their needs. We welcome all individuals equally so that every person shares a sense of inclusion and belonging in this organisation. You are welcome to come and explore different forms of spiritual, sustainable and creative possibilities in a setting where there are opportunities to become part of a community of others aspiring to live a balanced, compassionate, and heart centered life style. We provide a range of body, mind and spiritual practices in an uplifting non-denominational environment where people from different cultural and social backgrounds are encouraged to find their own way towards inner harmony and well-being, which includes care and respect for the wider community as well as the environment.Accessibility
The Salisbury Centre has a paved area to the front door. The centre has all gendered toilets and one level floor accessible toilet. Our kitchen doorway has been widened to allow for wheelchair users and we have removable ramps to our Garden. A floor plan of the centre and our doorway dimensions are on our website - https://www.salisburycentre.org//wp-content/uploads/2022/10/Salisbury-Centre-Accessibility-Information-PDF-1.pdf Unfortunately there is no parking and no dropped kerbs (we have requested the council for these and are awaiting their response). We have two rooms which are upstairs (our studio and guest room). We are in the process of researching how to make this more accessible. Our accessibility page is available here - https://www.salisburycentre.org/contact/accessbility/ If you have further questions please email office@salisburycentre.org

We do allow dogs at the Centre and there is a garden dogs are welcome to use. In the garden, there are 3 steps to the firepit or an uneven slope. The carer of the dog is responsible for making sure that there is no damage to the building and garden. They are responsible for cleaning up after their dog. If there is an issue with their dog (aggression) then they will be asked to leave.
