Venue Description

Part of New Dawn Pubs, an independent pub company, The Red Lion is a pub and inn, serving food and drink to soothe the soul, and luxuriously comfortable rooms in Odiham, Hampshire. Located in the market town of historic Odiham, in the heart of the high street, we offer 7 luxuriously comfortable boutique hotel rooms, serve seasonal British classics, a unique selection of premium drinks, and quality service... always. Easy to reach, we are just minutes from the M3 motorway, Junction 5 near Hook and Basingstoke. The rustic beams tell many historical tales, whilst the relaxed, unpretentious design and atmosphere align with today's high expectations. Ideal for a great pint of craft beer, deliciously fresh seasonal Hampshire fare, and a dreamy overnight escape. Car parking is available both on the high street and at Deer Park View Car Park, which provides easy access to the rear entrance of the pub.

Accessibility

The pub has two entrances to the pub. Access for our disable visitors is recommended via the left-hand side of our property. The side entrance to the pub is ideal for wheelchair and pushchair access, with 1 small step measuring 15cm high, and a bigger doorway. Our team is more than happy to help assist, and can provide a ramp for guests. We do recommend advance warning where viable, to have this ready for your arrival. The pub features a main door at the front of the building, from the high street, and one to the left-hand side of the building just a short way into the mews. The high street paving features large paving slabs, which can sometimes be uneven. Leading up to the front door is a slight incline to a 3-inch step into the doorway entrance. The double doors open inwards and are latched open. The second door pulls outward at a 90-degree angle from the doorway and is 82cm wide. The entrance area is well-lit and has glass windows to see through to the bar. The entrance flooring is heavy tread carpet, which leads into wooden flooring, that features part tiled design

Toilets

We offer a disabled toilet, which features baby changing facilities located in the far-right corner of the restaurant on the ground floor. It can be operated by the national key scheme radar key or a key is available by asking a member of staff. The disabled access toilet door is 89cm wide. The height of the toilet basin is 48 cm from the ground and has a backrest, handrails, and a drop-down support bar. A red assistance-required cord is hanging from the ceiling. If pulled, a flashing alert light is activated outside, from which a member of staff will attend immediately. A fold-down baby changing table is mounted to the wall with a specific nappy bin close by. Additional customer male and female toilets are located on the first floor.
