Overview

I found this venue quite accessible, I wasn't visiting with a Wheelchair however I feel accomodation would have been made if it was necessary. The venue is on 2 levels, with a few sets of stairs at various points connecting. It was quite small, so not for people who don't like confined spaces. I have a visual imparement, and needed my support to navigate to a seat, I don't think I could have found it without as it was quite dim. I would advise anyone with accessibility issuse to arrive at the venue early, as they ran out of seats at the back pretty quickly. The staff very very friendly and were very accomodating. The show itself was great, it was the first comedy show I had ever seen, and the first thing I saw at the festival, and I really really enjoyed it.

Transport & Parking

We got the bus into Edinburgh from Glasgow, the Pleasance is a 20-25 minute walk from the bus station. I wouldn't say it was suitable for manual wheelchairs as the route has a lot of hills.

Access

The venue was split over 2 levels, connected by stairs. However there did seem to be a lot of seats on the top level which was level access with the ground outside.
