Venue Description

The Morgan Experience Centre is based at the home of Morgan Motor Company and hosts a range of experiences and attractions including our captivating and immersive factory tour, where you’re guided through each stage of our historic vehicle production. Alongside this, we offer a host of thrilling drive experiences, including guided drives, self-drive hire and driving tours both UK based and Europe. The Morgan Experience Centre facilities are a must visit in Worcestershire, with the Morgan Shop, Morgan Works Malvern Showroom, The Archive Room (our interactive museum) and the Morgan Café open to all. You’ll not only find a seasonal and locally sourced menu in the café, but a comfortable and friendly atmosphere throughout.

Accessibility

Our reception automatic doors open outwards. If the sensor does not detect you when walking through them, they may close. At that point, please move away from the doors and then back towards them so that they can reopen. There are three locations within the Experience Centre where we have sloped flooring. There is a gentle decline on either side of our reception desk, both sides are less than a metre in length. The third, located in The Archive Room, is a longer slope of 21.5 metres in length and has a slightly steeper gradient. All three slopes are fitted with handrails, although The Archive Room slope has a handrail on one side only. There are no steps within the Experience Centre, other than to lead from our external decking and to the field behind. We do not currently have a ramp for these steps and so access will be through the terrace room (small, windowed seating area just off the café) or shop. All barring one of our doorways are the required width for wheelchair access. The single door fire exit in the Morgan Works Malvern showroom is 760mm.

Toilets

We have one accessible toilet on site, located in The Morgan Experience Centre and down the short corridor to the left of our reception desk. The door is not automatic and opens outwards into the corridor. Our baby changing facilities are located within the accessible toilet room. We have sanitary bins located in all three of our toilets (male, female and accessible).

Staff

We have one Accessibility champion who has been trained with an overview of accessibility needs.

Assistance dog facilities

Assistance dog exercise facilities

Assistance and emotional support dogs are welcomed into The Experience Centre. Please ask our team in the café for a water bowl and small doggie treat! Assistance dogs only are permitted on the factory Tour. Areas of the factory are loud, busy and we cannot guarantee that the factory tour walkway will free from small pieces of wood or metal. If taking your assistance dog on the factory tour, please bring their service jacket. With prior notice, we can reduce the noise in certain areas of the factory by turning down radios, but this will not eliminate noise made by production machinery. We offer tours on Saturdays when the factory is not in production and so what you experience is a still in time; a capture of our production process, with drastically reduced noise levels and movement.
