Overview
There is no disabled access at the front door Access is through the car park which is down the hill and in another street -this in itself infuriates and insults me Through a barrier which requires having to use an intercom and up a uneven alley I went the front wheels of my rollator caught in potholes twice knocking me off balance but not quite sending me over the handlebars ! The door into the hotel takes you in to dingy basement -I doubt tradesmen would be happy to have to use it I certainly felt like a very undervalued customer Then I was faced with a ramp to the lift which is far too short too steep and uncomfortable to stand on to call and wait for the lift If I hadn't been attending a function I'd have left long before getting this far I discussed the problems with a duty manager who told me management /owners were aware and litigation was already underway but cost was preventing improvement I suggested the cost of my litigation would have been greater had I fell
