Based in the jewel in the crown of Irish Tourism, Killaney in Co. Kerry, the Gleneagle Hotel is at the heart of the Irish welcome. The Gleneagle Hotel is one of Ireland’s best loved hotels. We have made accessibility one of our key products and are one of the first hotels to be accredited with the ENAT (European Network for Accessible Tourism) World Access for All certifications. Adjacent to The Gleneagle Hotel, stands the INEC Arena - one of Ireland’s leading entertainment venues. The INEC regularly hosts many leading performers and shows from around the world. The INEC Acoustic Club provides a more intimate venue where you can catch your favourite artists up close while dancing in The Gleneagle Ballroom, late into the evening, is a long standing tradition at The Gleneagle. The Aquila Club leisure centre has all the leisure facilities you could possibly wish for; a 25m swimming pool, kiddies’ pool, gym, squash and tennis courts, pitch and putt, snooker and children’s activity centre, while the Eager Eagles Kids Club and Teen Zone run during the school holidays. There are a number of dining options available. The Flesk Restaurant opens daily for breakfast and dinner. Its menus feature a selection of classic dishes featuring locally sourced produce. O’D’s Restaurant is renowned for its steak dishes, sizzling fajita platters and contemporary salads. The Backstage Bar serves an extensive bar food menu including daily specials, it also offers an extensive kids menu.Accessibility
Main Entrance • The main entrance can be reached by a ramp of 10 metres, 143cm wide to the side of the front door. • The slope of the ramp is 5%. • The ramp has one double handrail on the left-hand side, going up. • The main entrance door has level access. • The main entrance has 5 steps to front if you do not want to use ramp. • The clear width of the ramp is 143cm. • The main entrance door is automatic, sliding, with an opening width of 160cm. • There are safety markings on large glass doors or windows to avoid people walking into them by accident. • The entrance is well lit. • The entrance is covered/sheltered. Lifts/Elevators • There are lifts to all guestroom and meeting room floors. • The clear opening width and the internal floor dimensions of the lift cabins are: Lift A width 103cm X 136cm depth Lift B width 123cm X 191cm depth Lift C width 110cm X 130cm depth • The lift control buttons are at a height of 92cm above floor level. • The lift control buttons are marked in Braille. • The lift stops are announced visually.

There is a mobility friendly toilet opposite the entrance to the shop.
