Venue Description
We are an award accessible winning community hub in the heart of Tranent. We have a warm and friendly cafe as well as a cinema with a full listing of new releases and independent movies. We have a range of events and activities throughout the week provided by external providers including gentle exercise and arts and crafts. We are a hub for mental health support including a drop in Mental Health cafe as well as support for families through the presence of the Haven. We also have rooms to let for one-off or regular classes and events.

We have level access into the building with automatic doors. We are step free throughout. We have wheelchair spaces within our cinema. We have movable seating within our cafe area.

We are the first cinema in the UK to have Watchword Smart Glasses which provide closed captions https://www.watchword.cc/ WatchWord is a new closed captioning system that uses smart glasses to provide personalised captions in cinema for D/deaf, deafened, and hard of hearing cinema audiences whenever they need them.
