Venue Description

TDF is a registered charity offering a full range of mainstream complementary therapies to disabled people, anyone suffering from a chronic health issue or medical condition, as well as those involved in their care, including NHS staff. TDF also offers counselling and chiropody. Our Centre has 5 therapy rooms and is based at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, Stanmore, Middx. All our therapists are fully qualified, insured and hold a current DBS check. Examples of therapies are: Remedial Massage, Therapeutic Massage, Aromatherapy Massage, Acupuncture, Reflexology, Indian Head Massage, Osteopathy, Acupuncture, Cranio-Sacral Therapy, Hypnotherapy, Reiki, Thai Yoga Massage, Chiropody

Accessibility

TDF has its own car park. There are two entrances. The first is in front of the car park and there is a small step to the wide double doors and then down a short passage to the reception. The second is via the Prosthetic unit with automatic double doors and then through a second set of double doors. The accessible toilet is in the Prosthetic unit and there are also standard toilets.

The accessible toilet is in the Prosthetic unit and there are also standard toilets. Separate standard toilets for males and females.

Staff

All of our therapists are fully insured and have DBS certificate clearance. Therapists work on a shift basis, most offering a three hour slot per week at our Centre. There are also reception and office staff on duty.

The RNOH is based in large leafy grounds where dogs can be exercised. Water can be provided for assistance dogs.
