Venue Description

The National Family Support Centre for children young people and adults with Spina Bifida, hydrocephalus or other similar conditions. The Centre is a modern purpose built facility and exudes a warm and friendly environment throughout.

Accessibility

Entrance Doors all automatic sliding doors. All internal doors wheelchair accessible. All level access throughout. No ramps (apart from the children's play area which includes ramped access and rest areas for our younger wheelchair visitors) a special request by the children themselves!

Toilets

Modern accessible toilets throughout. Also wet floor and shower facilities all with grab Rails. Portable hoist and slings available if necessary for transfer.

Staff

We hope you will find all of our staff, warm, compassionate and caring. Some of our staff have particular skills in family support, nursing, community and group work as well as a specialism in health and well being. Others specialise in information and communication technology to support self management.
