Overview

I recently stayed at The Coach House and was honestly so impressed with all their accessible facilities. As a full-time electric wheelchair user, I would have no problems in recommending this cottage. From the initial booking, I was sent a detailed list of equipment available - from hoists, slings, shower chairs and a commode. All requests were met with kindness and were there ready in place prior to my arrival. Staff were incredibly friendly and respected our privacy too. The cottage had level access throughout, with plenty of open, turning spaces for my wheelchair. I was so impressed with the large wet room facilities. So much thought and detail had gone into the overall access. Being able to travel without having to bring all my own equipment (such as a profiling bed) was such a relaxing experience. My favourite part had to be the hottub - which had an EasyTrack hoist with gantry system. The location of the cottage was also perfect for nearby attractions such as Perranporth beach and Healeys Cyder Farm. Dogs were also welcome, which made the trip even more appealing to me.
