Visit the Clink Restaurant at HMP High Down – a dining experience delivering change, staffed by prisoners working towards City & Guilds NVQs in Food Preparation, Food Service and Customer Service, leading to employment in the UK hospitality industry upon release.

Accessibility

The check-in centre is accessible and on ground level from the visitor's car park. There is a ramp into the restaurant, but two steps to negotiate when going through the prison gate. Motorised scooters can enter through the vehicle lock.

Train: Take a train to Sutton or Belmont station - these run from London regularly. The prison is less than 15 minutes from each station by taxi (fare is approx. £6 each way). Bus: Take the number 80 bus from Sutton station directly to the prison.
