Venue Description

The only Dutch cheese shop in the UK, providing a lot more besides. As well as the best selection of North Holland goudas - from young to extra old, with cumin, chilli or nettle - and a full range of semi-hard goat's cheeses - we also offer the best of Scottish cheeses and accompaniments - oatcakes, chutneys, jams and preserves, bries, blues and aged cheddars. Housed in the Old Police Station (where the cheeses are stored in the former cell) you're always guaranteed a warm welcome (!) plus the chance to sample some of our offerings.

Accessibility

A flat paved path (with gravel to both sides) leads to a single, inward opening, entrance door. The shop is situated directly from the path in a single space on the ground floor (no steps). There is an accessible toilet to the rear of the space for use by customers. The proprietors, Jon and Emmy, have past experience of working with people with a range of access needs.
