Venue Description

New for 2021, The Balgownie Bunkhouse is a brand new addition to Balgownie. The Bunkhouse is all on one level and provides accommodation for overnight guests comprising of 3 en-suite bedrooms one of which is suitable for wheelchair access, it also has a large communal lounge, kitchen with low thresh hold patio doors that lead out to the decking.

Accessibility

The Bunkhouse House has a designated parking space, on a concrete surface, adjacent to the access ramp to the main entrance. The ramp also extends on to the patio area for sitting outside. The property has three en-suite bedrooms, with capacity for 12 guests. Bracken is our accessible bedroom and has a 3 beds one stand alone single and bunkbeds, as well as a large en-suite wet room. The wet room has a height adjustable shower, easy turn taps, and grab rails. A shower stool and shower chair are available for guests use. Heather sleeps 4 in bunks and has a wet room with shower. Thistle has 1 kingsize bed and 3 bunkbeds so sleep 5 it also has a spacious en-suite wet room. The lounge and kitchen are open plan with level access and ample circulation space. A door leads out on to the patio where there are picnic benches to enjoy the outdoor lifestyle. Located across the grass surrounding the patio is a fire pit.”
