Overview

I began visiting Brampton Museum regularly last year as part of the Borough's 850 anniversary celebrations. The series of local history talks and activities were interesting and entertaining. These events have continued and are well worth spending an afternoon soaking up tea and cake and local history. The museum staff and volunteers are always on hand to help - whether it be a practical request for a special chair or to answer general queries etc. There are other reasons to visit Brampton Museum. The lovely grounds and historic former residence, the art and exhibitions, the cafe all combine to create a joyful experience. And that is not to mention the value of the local history sources the museum holds!
