Venue Description
The Brampton Museum in Newcastle-under-Lyme hosts exhibits showing the history of the area, and also boasts revamped meeting and event rooms looking out on the beautiful scenery of the area. The venue also has a cafe, the Little Vintage Tea Room, offering hot and cold drinks, sandwiches, snacks, and homemade cakes, and a gift shop with beautiful handcrafted items, supporting local businesses.
Accessibility
Main entrance accessible by wheelchair ramp with large automatic double doors. If the doors need to be opened further to allow wider mobility vehicles access to the building, a Visitor Services Assistant is available at reception to do so. Two accessible toilets in the venue, and a Changing Places toilet available in nearby Newcastle Library. Dementia friendly and quiet events are available on certain dates. BSL interpretation, professional lip speaker services and touch tours for the visually impaired are available for free - provide 1 week notice to the venue.
