Venue Description

Registered Charity providing 2.5 acres of accessible outdoor and indoor spaces, giving children and adults with all types of special need a chance to experience the fun and freedom of adventure play in a stimulating, specially-designed environment. Includes a wheelchair-accessible roundabout, swing and elevated walkways, bikes and trikes for all ages, splashpool, sandpit, crazy golf and sensory and music gardens, multi-sensory rooms, softplay area, arts, crafts and touchscreen computer, and toys . . . lots of toys! Open Tuesdays to Saturdays (Fridays adults only), advanced booking essential.

Accessibility

We have a ramp up to the external gate, the area is securely fenced and you ring a bell to gain entry. We have a manual and an electric hoist for people to use, and an electric changing bed in the toilet area. We have a wheelchair accessible roundabout and swing outside to enjoy .

Toilets

We have a variety of toilets, some with sliding doors and hook locks, a changing room with electric bed, two hoists and sinks with push taps and paper towels (no hand dryers)

Staff

On hand are 4 full time staff and 4 part time staff, are all very helpful and vigilant, willing to assist wherever needed. Most of them have a knowledge of Makaton sign language and first aid.
