Overview
Access from entering the building through to finding your way around and the helpful staff made for a great visit.
Transport & Parking
Parking can be arranged and public transport in the area is very good. The Millennium Bridge is useful for people coming across from the North bank of the river Thames.
Access
The Tate Modern easily earns the full five stars. With a great deal of thought being put in to making accessibility an integral part of what they do. You can even borrow wheelchairs and scooters to help you during your visit. You can get large print and audio guides. With a free multimedia sign language guide if you find that helpful.
Toilets
Toilets were really good with plenty of space, clean and well equipped. There's a Changing Places toilet on level zero.
Staff
Staff were very helpful during my visit. They explained the facilities available and suggested the route to take.
Anything else you wish to tell us?
There's a good cafe where staff were happy to help carry things to a table. Overall, a great place to visit as a wheelchair user.
