The Sunny Bank Mills Museum and Archive is a unique resource representing over 180 years of cloth production at the mills and the lives of those who worked here. It contains more than 60,000 lengths of cloth, 8000 fabric designs, 5000 dye cards, 300 guard books and numerous artefacts associated with nearly 200 years of cloth production, which it aims to preserve for the community and future generations.Accessibility
We've done everything we can to make our old and much-loved building as accessible as possible. The Museum & Archive building is in Red Lane Mill, on Water Lane, Farsley. Access from the car park on Water Lane is level across a cobbled yard and flagstones area to the entrance to Red Lane Mill. Once inside, the floor is uneven sandstone flagstones throughout and two wooden ramps. Please note the Museum & Archive is open on Saturdays only.
