Venue Description

Accessible Holiday Cottages and Holiday Home set in tranquil grounds with stunning views over countryside to the sea. Two miles from Whitby with large range of daily living equipment available including hoists.

Accessibility

All properties are accessed from a level car park. All properties have ramp access where needed, wide entrance doors and ground floor bedrooms and wet room bathrooms. Engineered flooring throughout provides smooth and unhindered going for wheelchair users. Some properties have shared level gardens. We have a variety of daily living equipment for hire if required and Albany cottage has a ceiling hoist in the ground floor bedroom. Portable hoists are also available. Bathrooms have strategically placed grab rails and Scoresby cottage has a Victorian Bath and being on legs is hoist accessible.

Toilets

All properties have a ground floor wet room bathroom, with easy turn taps, grab rails and wheeled shower commode chairs.

Staff

One owner is a retired Nurse (RMN) and has a good understanding of meeting individual's needs. Care staff can be brought in to attend to personal cares at additional cost.

Dogs can be taken into the field just off the car park area 50m from the cottages. Our mobile home has a well fenced garden.
