Venue Description

St Pancras Old Church first claimed its own little slice of rock n roll history in 1968 when the grounds and courtyard were used by The Beatles for a photo shoot on their 'Mad Day Out'. More recently, the church was set up as a music venue in 2011 and quickly became one of the most popular venues on the London circuit, establishing itself as the foremost venue for new artist's to launch EP's, albums and to host industry showcase performances. Alongside the very best emerging new music the church has welcomed its fair share of more established and celebrated artists including Sinead O Connor, Laura Marling, Brian Eno, Ron Sexsmith, Jason Mraz, Damien Jurado, Newton Faulkner and Simone Felice. It also hosted early shows from the likes of Daughter, Tom Odell, Ethan Johns, Lucy Rose, Sam Smith and Agnes Obel who have subsequently gone on to break through and make names for themselves in the UK and farther afield. With a campaign to raise funds to strengthen the foundations currently in full swing, the church has never been busier. You can see what we have coming up in our Event Calendar at stpamcrasoldchurch.wixsite.com/music Whether you are a regular or a first timer, we'd love to see you at a show in the coming months and are sure you'll agree that the church, a Grade II* listed building and the oldest site of Christian worship in the UK, has its own unique atmosphere and truly is one of the most special venues in the capital!
