Venue Description

The Parish Church for the heart of Edinburgh at the beginning of the historic George Street. St Andrew's and St George's West is a welcoming and inclusive church. With services held throughout the week and is home to The Albany Deaf Church. Every part of the building is accessible to those who need additional help to do so with ramp access, a Wheelchair accessible lift and disabled toilets throughout. We also run a café called the Undercroft. Open Tuesday to Friday each week. This too is completely accessible.

Accessible Performances

There is no dedicated seating areas as the sanctuary and café are completely flexible spaces with no fixed seating so anybody can sit wherever they like. This applies to all performances nd events that occur in the church building.

Toilets

We have many toilets throughout the building and one disabled toilet. This is a wide door with handrails and space for movement.

Assistance Dogs are of course allowed and welcomed. As we are on George Street we don't necessarily have land for dogs to use un leashed. That would be up to the owner.
