Brunel’s SS Great Britain is committed to giving the best experience possible to its visitors: - All museum spaces are fully accessible for wheel chair users. Please be aware that the Dock Office (part of Being Brunel) is a historic building with narrow corridors and doorways. The most narrow point is 59cm. We have wheelchairs available for anyone that wishes to borrow one. - Visual stories and maps with sensory details available to download on our Accessibility webpage - Ear defenders in child and adult sizes - Tactile model of the ship - Access map available - Free companions and assistants

Accessible toilets are in all of our museums spaces and on board the ship, as well as in the Visitor Centre and in the Harbourside Kitchen.

Our front of house team are dedicated to providing the best visitor experience for all visitors. Most staff have had accessibility awareness training such as Dementia Friends and talks on neurodivergence.
