Venue Description

Springhall Library is located within Springhall Community Centre, on Cruachan Road in Rutherglen.

Accessibility

Springhall is a single floor library, with a ramp outside leading to automatic double doors at the entrance to the building. The library has a selection of both spoken word and large print materials, and has an Active IT area as well. Springhall library runs various classes and sessions for children, including Bookbug sessions; more information on these sessions can be found by contacting the library. Springhall library also has free Wifi access.

Toilets

All toilets in the building are open to the public and don’t require a key for access; the disabled toilet is combined with the baby change facilities. Libraries across South Lanarkshire are part of Period Positive and have free sanitary products for any visitors

Staff

Staff have received dementia awareness training.
