Venue Description

SPARK* is a creative community space bringing together the freshest selection of independent businesses in York. We have the best street food, drinks, events, and independent pop-up retailers to keep the whole family (including four-legged friends) occupied. Inside you’ll also find a holistic therapy studio as well as a flexible co-working hub, a shared studio for resident artists, and a multipurpose events space. We are located in the centre of York on Piccadilly, and open six days a week, Tuesday to Sunday – coffee and pastries from 9am, food and drinks from 12pm. Our venue is inclusive and fully accessible (lift available) – entry is free and there’s no need to book, simply turn up. Family and dog friendly!

Accessibility

Entrance to the venue is through a ramp. There is a platform elevator to reach the first floor, and accessible toilets on both levels. Doors to the events space and toilets all have ramps.

Toilets

There are accessible toilets on both floors, each with an alarm cord, hand rails and larger spaces to fit a wheelchair.

All SPARK staff are trained on disability awareness as part of their induction.
