Venue Description

Silverburn offers over 100 upscale stores, high street staples, fashion favourites, cafes and restaurants and free parking set in a stunning under-cover, architecturally inspired space. Accessibility

There is step-free access throughout the centre, all entrances are clearly marked and there is push pad doors at the majority of entrances. All levels from the multi-storey car park have lifts to allow access to the main mall.

This accessible toilet is approximately 15m (16yd 1ft) from the level 0 car park entrance. There is step-free access to the accessible toilet. There is pictorial, written text and ‘Not All Disabilities Are Visible’ signage on or near the toilet door. The door opens by sliding (Bi-Fold). The door is locked by a lever twist. The width of the accessible toilet opening is 116cm (3ft 10in). The dimensions of the accessible toilet are 170cm x 225cm (5ft 7in x 7ft 5in). The accessible toilet does not have an unobstructed minimum turning space of 150cm x 150cm. There is a lateral transfer space. The lateral transfer space is 104cm (3ft 5in). There is a sensor flush. There is a dropdown rail on the transfer side. There is a/are wall-mounted grab rail(s) available. As you face the toilet the wall-mounted grab rail(s) is/are on both sides. Staff

Hearing loops are available at Guest Services and at shop mobility. Our staff undergo diversity and inclusion training to aid in assisting in the guest journey. Many of the staff have been trained to be "Dementia Friends" and can assist with individuals experiencing the effects of Alzheimer's. Our team will be more than happy to help where we can.

We do not have exercise facilities due to the nature of the Centre, however we welcome all service dogs to mall.

Other assistance dog facilities

We have recently become Dog Friendly so there are water bowls placed throughout the mall and there is access to outdoor areas for toileting.
