Shettleston Library offers a wide range of services and activities in relaxing, comfortable and inspiring surroundings. Our friendly staff will always be on hand to help you get the most of your visit. With your membership you can have access to Glasgow's Library network as well as the Mitchell Library

Accessibility

Shettleston Library is a non level access building with 6 deep steps leading to the main entrance. There are handrails either side of these steps. There is access via a ramp which is 144 cm wide and is of easy slope and as it bypasses the stairs, allows full access. There is a level landing at the top of the ramp to allow adjustment before entering the main entrance. This ramp also has the use of a handrail. The main entrance doors push away from the customer and are 124cm wide. The internal doors pull towards the customer and are 144cm wide.

Assistance dogs are welcome, with Tollcross Park 500 metres away available for exercise. There is no dedicated exercise space in the Library.
