Venue Description

Seastar is a large 5 bedroomed holiday cottage on the coast at Deal in Kent. We sleep 8 people & baby comfortably. We are well adapted with profiling beds, wet room, ceiling and mobile hoist, lift and more. We enjoy enviable uninterrupted channel views as the house is located almost on the beach. Deal was once a fishing town and retains an old world charm, 3 mile accessible promenade, a pier, and is a hub for arts, craft, theatre and music. Further afield Kent has much to offer by way of history, coastline, golf, walking, shopping, wildlife and plenty more, and when you've done all that you can take a day trip to France very easily from Dover or Folkestone.

Accessibility

Level entry or ramped access to front of house, courtyard garden and beachside garden. Two profiling beds; one in family room with additional kingsize bed and ensuite (inaccessible) and one in accessible bedroom with wet room attached and lift to first floor. Two further singles and upstairs master with further ensuite (inaccessible). Ceiling hoist, mobile hoist to hire, toilet/shower seat, raise and recline armchair and more.

Toilets

Wet room contains basin (not height adjustable), toilet, roll in shower and reclining shower/toilet seat on castors for use in shower or over the loo.

Staff

We are a self catering holiday home so no staff are on site.

Assistance dog exercise facilities

There is a small contained courtyard or ample walking along the beach side. Some of the promenade insists on dogs on leads during high season but left of the property walks alongside the golf course are not restricted but also not accessible.

Other assistance dog facilities

We provide water and feeding bowls for visiting dogs and there is a spare lead in case one gets forgotten
