Overview

We paid a family visit to Scone visiting both gardens and palace. Booking by phone was straightforward. On-line booking was not able to deal with carer discount but one phone call on the day of visit sorted everything out. Enjoyed tour of palace and wandering around gardens. Most paths are usable by wheelchair and parts which aren't are clearly shown on grounds map. .

Staff available to deal with queries and directions. Lift access to palace for tour. Straightforward access to cafe and shops.

Welcomes at gatehouse and had all facilities explained and provided with parking pass before allowed through barrier. Guides knowledgeable and made allowance for all visitors where necessary
